Montgomery

A historic market town, Montgomery is a pleasant place to explore with its mixture of timber-framed houses, Georgian and Victorian architecture. The Town Hall was built in 1748 to replace an earlier guildhall which previously stood in the middle of Broad Street.

Situated on the Welsh border, Montgomery grew up around its hilltop castle, built in the 13th century. Montgomery has a thriving community and offers a wealth of activity for visitors and newcomers alike. Situated close to the Offa's Dyke path, Montgomery is an excellent stopping off point providing a wealth of warm and friendly places to stay as well as places to eat and drink.
