Peaceful, relaxing and affordable

Me, my partner and dog stayed for a long weekend and it was absolutely everything we could have wanted! The lodge was spotless, complementary snacks upon arrival, more than enough facilities, really generous amounts of tea/coffee etc. The area was so peaceful and not overcrowded, it was a lovely and private lodge! The decking was very secure, we were a little worried with our dog being an escape artist however we felt very at ease knowing it was completely secure! Just to bear in mind we couldn’t find any takeaways that deliver to the resort but we happily collected takeaways from local areas instead. There’s lots to do around the area, we went to the beach and on a hike, the hike was absolutely amazing (hafren forest). We definitely would recommend and return!

Amazing Lodges, Fabulous Staff - Outstanding!

I have stayed on Maesmawr Farm this week with my husband, son (aged 10) and dog. What an amazing resort. We stayed in Lodge 14 Sparrow and were blown away by the size, quality & amenities of the lodge. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. All the furnishings are the highest quality and everything we could possibly need was provided. The beds were very comfy and we all had great nights sleep. The hot tub was outstanding and maintained daily by the lovely staff…. The staff at the resort, and all the other guests, were very friendly. We loved Maesmawr so much that we have booked to return at Christmas. We have booked 2 lodges as our parents are coming along too. We can’t wait to return!

Family holiday

We have just returned from 4 nights at Maesmawr farm with our family. We stayed at the condor lodge number 32 and it was out of this world, we was shocked when we arrived at how spacious the lodge was, the lodge was so clean and beautiful decorated it most definatly felt like a luxury break The site was well kept and staff was all welcoming and happy to help. Our 9 year old boy had the best time making a group of friends and scootering round the site and also playing football on the playing field enjoying spending time outdoors and away from screens Our dog Monty enjoyed a local run with his dad every morning in the beautiful scenic hills over looking the site. Also loved sitting on the decking watching the world go by and watching other dogs walk past the lodge The welcome hamper was a beautiful touch. We could not recommend this site enough, we will most definitely be booking again in the future Thank you for making our stay so wonderful ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

FAMILY (AND PET) FRIENDLY

Second stay in 12 months!

We stayed in No.1 the orchid and it was a great lodge! It's been mentioned on here before the location is nice and private! Last visit in march was a safari tent I do have a review on here about that stay and I did say I would re visit the site but leave it a few years to see what they do with it due to it still been developed, but I honestly searched high and low for a Monday to Friday break in school summer holidays and I couldn't find nowhere with a luxury lodge with a hot tub for the price we got this for so it was a no brainer for us.. like last time hot tub cleaned and checked every day. A nice little basket with sweets and biscuits and other nibbles which again was a nice touch, tea, coffee to get you started! The lodge is one of the best we've stayed in very modern even had a dishwasher! The grounds are stunning and well maintained.....again highly recommended Hafren forest for all you dog walkers a choice of about 5 walks all with different distances .. another great day out we had was Aberdafyi beach miles and miles of golden sand on a dog friendly beach in a nice little town. Season's cafe over the road in Caersws is a great place for breakfast if one morning you don't fancy cooking...! And also a train station there for people who don't drive or fancy leaving the car one day and take the train, a couple of pubs a petrol station and a chippy are also in the town

REPEAT VISITORS

Well fell so in love with this hidden gem that we decided to buy our own lodge here.

After spending 6 weeks here enjoying the best summer of our lives last year, we are now doing the same again this year in our very own lodge. We are a family of 5 with 3 young children (12,5 and 3) and also 3 small dogs, and we cannot spend enough time here. The site is in beautiful surroundings and is kept so clean and well maintained. The staff work so hard keeping everywhere pristine.It’s a quiet site, perfect for escaping busy careers and a fast paced life. We immediately slow down and relax the moment we arrive.The team here are wonderful, they cannot do enough for you to make sure that your stay as a guest or an owner is absolutely perfect. A special mention to Julia and Clive. who always makes us feel so welcome and takes time out of there busy day to come and see my children. They all love them both so much. There is so so much to do here if you want to, or of course you can do absolutely nothing in pure Luxury. Don’t hesitate to book your stay here. Coming here is the best decision we have ever made. Thank you Pam, Craig, Julia, Clive, Jo, Cerys and all of the team. We are so grateful to be a part of the community on here.

5 stars all the way ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just had a very enjoyable week at this fantastic dog friendly resort. The lodge was fabulous and the grounds immaculate. We loved the hot tub and had very good use out of it. We were so impressed with all the staff that worked very hard keeping the place looking spectacular and keeping the hot tubs constantly maintained. There was plenty of space to walk the dog and they even had a dedicated dog walking field which we found so very helpful. This is a wonderful place to completely relax as there is not much to do in the immediate vicinity but there are many great places to travel to within an hours drive (including the coast) We would love to return and would highly recommend this beautiful place. The accommodation is very spacious, luxurious and clean considering what we paid for it! Very pleasantly surprised. Will definitely be returning. We took our dog and she has loved it, lots of places locally to take her and a field on site for her to be let off her lead and chase the ball.

'100% recommend this to anyone!'

Stayed for two nights and we were so sad to leave, wish we had booked longer. The accommodation is amazing, beautifully furnished with everything you could need. Hot tub was incredible especially on a cold winter evening! Beautiful location too. Will definitely be returning again next year! 100% recommend this to anyone!

'This place is a hidden gem!!!'

This was our second visit to Maesmawr and we’ve already booked to come back next year. This place is a hidden gem!!! The lodges (and surroundings) are kept immaculate, the decor is modern and tasteful and the welcome hampers are such a lovely touch. The location is quite rural which was lovely for us as it allowed us to sit back and relax for the weekend. My children (age 7 & 4) loved every minute and I can’t wait to see how the site grows and develops.

'Brilliant weekend away'

We have just come home and can only say if your thinking of staying here don’t hesitate. The lodges are fantastic everything you could possibly need including towels for the hot tub, the welcome hamper is such a lovely touch too. Myself, husband and my two children and grandchildren have already booked to go again next year and the lady who we booked with has made sure the 4 lodges we have booked are all next to each other we cannot wait.
